There are multiple artists under the name Clap! Clap! 1) Clap! Clap! is the moniker of bass producer Digi G'Alessio (a.k.a. Cristiano Crisci). As Clap! Clap! he has released two EPs so far, Gwidingwi Dema () and Tambacounda (). 2) Amongst the wake of a clap-less music scene, it was San Marcos where the conception of Clap!Clap! took place.

The new album follows Clap! Clap!’s debut album, ’s Tayi Bebba, which sound-tracked the tour of an imaginary island. ‘A Thousand Skies’ is a mix of Crisci’s career to date combining samples and live instrumentation from Clap! Clap! and collaborators such as South African folk singer Bongeziwe Mabandla, John Wizards, and OY.

Brilliantly odd instrumental hip hop album here from Onra, compiled and constructed around vintage Vietnamese pop records picked up in flea markets on a trip to the far east. 32 short tracks make up "Chinoiseries", each of them clocking in at the 1 or 2 minute mark and delivering a tight selection of beats that somehow bring to mind J Dilla, Rza, Madlib, Moondog, MF Doom and the Sublime.
